Jenny.
I'm a Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist (in training) and HCPC-registered Music Therapist.
I first trained as a Music Therapist, qualifying in 2021 and have worked with children and adults across a range of settings, including brain injury, special educational needs and disability (SEND) and adult mental health. My work has also included supporting women leaving prison as they rebuild their lives in the community.
These experiences have deepened my interest in connection, intimacy, identity and the ways our experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves and others. This eventually led me to train in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy.
Music has remained an important part of my life. I still write, listen to and occasionally perform music. It is one of the ways I make sense of my own experiences and the world around me.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me outdoors mountain biking, hiking or exploring new places. I am also learning Spanish. While learning a language doesn't come easily to me, seeing the progress over time is very satisfying.
